What happens, fromyour first messageto feeling well again.

Coming to Dubai
Visa, flights, hotel and pick-up — we help with all of it.

Insurance
Cash, or claim yourself — we provide our documents.

Your surgery
One to four hours. One to three nights in hospital.

Getting better
Walking the same day. Normal life in a few months.
Step 1
Send us your scan
You do not need to travel to find out whether we can help. Send your MRI and tell us where it hurts. The ProSpine team reviews it and gives you a clear, honest answer.
It is free, and there is nothing to commit to afterwards.
- Your MRI from the last six months
- Any X-rays or reports you already have
- A few lines about your pain and what you have tried

Not sure what to send, or want to talk it through first?
Step 2
Coming to Dubai
If you are travelling from abroad, you get one coordinator who arranges everything and stays reachable throughout. Start planning about four to six weeks before your surgery date.

We confirm your date and help with your visa. Most visitors can apply online.
Flights and a hotel near the hospital, plus a room for whoever travels with you.
A final check that your documents and medication are in order.
A driver meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel.

Somewhere to stay
Hotels a few minutes from the hospital, medical hotels with nurses on site, or apartments if you are staying longer.

Getting around
Airport pick-up, a free shuttle between partner hotels and the hospital, and taxis everywhere else.

Your coordinator
One person who speaks your language, books your appointments and answers the phone whenever you need them.
Step 3
Insurance
Many people are able to claim some of their treatment back. You pay for treatment directly — by cash — or you claim through your insurer yourself. What we provide are the documents we have.
Before your treatment
A written treatment plan, your scans and reports, and the medical reasons behind the recommendation.
Afterwards
Full surgical notes, itemised paperwork with the codes insurers need, and your discharge summary.
If they say no
Appeals are between you and your insurer. We can re-issue the documents we have if you need them again.
It is worth calling your insurer early and asking one question: does my policy cover treatment abroad, outside your network?

Step 4
Your surgery
If surgery is the right choice for you, here is exactly how the days around it look. Nothing is rushed, and someone talks you through each part before it happens.

Before
Meeting your surgeon
You meet your surgeon, ask everything you want to ask, and have a few simple health checks. If you smoke, we help you stop first — it makes a real difference to healing.

The day itself
One to four hours
Most single-level operations take one to two hours. You sleep through it, and your family is kept updated while they wait. You wake up in the recovery room with a nurse beside you.

After
One to three nights
You will usually be up and walking the same day or the next morning. We manage your pain, show you how to move safely, and only send you home when you feel ready.
Step 5
Getting better
Recovery is gradual, and each stage flows into the next. These are the milestones most people reach — your own pace may be a little faster or slower, and that is normal.

Weeks 1–2
Resting and walking
Short walks every day, no heavy lifting, and keeping the wound clean. Most people need far less pain medication than they expect.

Weeks 3–6
Building strength
Physiotherapy starts. Many people are back at a desk job and driving again in this period, once they are off strong painkillers.

Months 3–6
Back to your life
Full work, exercise and sport, with lifting limits lifted. We check in at three, six and twelve months, then once a year.
Someone is always on the phone
Wherever you are in the world, call us at any hour if something worries you. Please call straight away if you have:
- Pain that is getting worse, not better
- A fever, or fluid coming from the wound
- New numbness, weakness or tingling
- Any worry at all about how you are healing
Questions people usually ask
Yes. You send your scan, we review it and write back with an honest answer. There is no fee and no expectation that you go further.
About a week for most people: a day or two before surgery, one to three nights in hospital, and a few days to be checked before you fly home.
Desk work is usually possible within three to six weeks. Physical work and sport come back gradually between six weeks and three months, guided by how you feel and what your physiotherapist advises.
We will tell you plainly, and explain why. Being told no is a good outcome when surgery would not have helped — we will point you towards what might.
Yes, and we encourage it. Your coordinator arranges their room and travel alongside yours, and keeps them updated during the operation.
We connect you with a physiotherapist near you and send them your plan, review your progress by video call, and stay on the phone 24 hours a day.
